Transformative Justice Action Camp a Success!

During Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, Philly Stands Up Collective hosted the a Transformative Justice Action Camp to Confront Sexual Assault.  Held in West Philadelphia, 30 participants gathered from all over North America for an action oriented weekend to deepen concepts, share strategies and make crucial connections as anti-violence organizers using a Transformative Justice framework. With a dynamic three day curriculum constructed and facilitated by kiran Nigam, of AORTA, the weekend played an inventive and exciting role in movement building and strengthening a new (inter)national network of collectives, resources and organizers.
